Ci sono stato con la mia famiglia. Posto economico ma ottimo per visitare la zona. Colazione da prenotare sul posto a soli 2 euro. La camera aveva 5 letti comodi e un bagno privato (stanza n°5). Pulizia ok e il personale qualificato. C'è anche un'area per campeggiare con la tenda. Parcheggio privato e ristoranti e pub vicinissimi

Auberge incroyable... A 10 minutes à pied du départ de rando des falaises. A 5 minutes d'un super pub avec ambiance musicale. Le personnel est exceptionnel, et nous avons fait énormément de bonne rencontres. Le feu de cheminée est apprécié. Tout est très propre. Nous y retournerons sans problème. Notre coup de coeur du voyage.

Friendly welcome and cozy fireside with several spaces to gather. My husband and I were passing through town and only staying one night, so we got a private room instead of the full hostel experience. Huge kitchen with lots of space for guest groceries! Would be happy to stay here again.

Cute, cozy and quiet little hostel, yet with a super spacious kitchen. Free use of the washing machine is also a massive plus! Super close to the start of the Cliffs of Moher walking trail, as well as the ferries to the cliffs and Aran Islands.

Nice atmosphere with cozy fire, benches, and communal tables to eat at. Well laid out, massive kitchen. Dimmable lights in bedroom was a good touch! Lockers in rooms appreciated. You have to pay for breakfast (€2) but it's the cheapest choice in the town so worth it. Great location.

Allie River Hostel is amazing! The staff are so welcoming and provide wonderful tips. The hostel has such a cozy environment. I will definitely be staying here again!!

Beautiful little spot with a great cooking facility. Only a short walk from great pubs and shops. If you like to hike this is the spot for you. Surrounded by the beautiful Irish country side, wild life and of course the ocean.

this place was awesome the people were very helpful and nice to talk to. The room was one of the biggest I stayed in my whole trip and the bed was very comfortable! Lots of tasty restaurants are within an easy walking distance and you get get to the coast and see some amazing views after a 15 min walk.

È uno dei pochissimi ostello di Doolin, e sicuramente anche il più bello. Stile rustico sviluppato su due piani e affacciato su un ruscello con tanto giardino. Disponibilità di carte e giochi da tavolo, la colazione costa 1.50€ ma c’è la possibilità di portare cose comprate fuori. Massima pulizia in tutti gli ambienti. A 10 min a piedi da fisher street.

Camera spaziosa e con armadietto personale dotato di chiave. Bagno grande e pulito. Cucina comune molto grande ma con pochi tavoli a disposizione. Possibilità di avere la colazione con un piccolo supplemento. Posizione tranquilla in riva al fiume. Ottimo per effettuare un'escursione alle isole Aaran. Personale gentile

Our stay here was quaint perfection. The hostel is conveniently located near the Cliffs of Moher and walking distance to local pubs. The river is serene and the accommodations were clean and comfy. We had a private room and private bath that had its own separate entrance. The staff was kind and the common room was warm and welcoming. We would highly recommend the hostel!

This place will always have a special place in my heart. The host was more than accommodating, he gave us maps and let us look at his books to see what activities were available. They were also very kind and the other travelers were always nice. One of the cleanest, best quality hostels I’ve ever stayed at! Beautiful lot, excellent location, great breakfast and wonderful company.

The location of this hostel is perfect, in between two little villages. We booked a private double room which wasn't directly inside the hostel but attached as a private room and was really clean and comfortable and suited our needs as a place to stay after an evening visiting the Cliffs of Moher. Beautiful fire place and friendly staff.

Ich war jetzt schon dreimal im Aille River und kann es nur empfehlen. Es ist eine idyllische Atmosphäre. Die Angestellten sind immer sehr nett. Es ist sauber und fühlt sich an als wäre man zu Hause. Die Räume sind alle sehr klein gehalten, aber so ist es in der Regel in Irland ja im allgemeinen. Wer allerdings Luxus möchte, sollte lieber in ein Hotel.

An absolutely amazing little hostel, both of my parents had stayed here 20 and 30 years ago and recommend it then. I would hands down stay here again. Comfortable beds, very clean, wonderful staff. It is a must stay if you’re traveling in Doolin

This was lovely. (THEY HAD FREE LAUNDRY!! Although drying required a very small fee.) Would 1000% stay again.

Loved my stay here. The people, staff and patrons alike were lovely, and we shared a lot of music. The walk to the cliffs was beautiful even in the wind and rain. I had the little private room, and it was very clean and cozy. Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful hostel, a home away from home! Staff are welcoming and fun, the kitchen is huge (3 stove tops and lots of bench space), bathrooms are spotless and the beds are comfortable! I had a few great nights bathe fireplace whilst other guests played guitar. Ask the staff about Dutch Blits, it’s a great card game! I’ll make it my life long mission to return. I loved my stay!

Staying at this hostel was so wonderful. It is perfect for anyone who enjoys the countryside, the outdoors, or somewhere a little quieter, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hostel is near the Doolin pier, where you can hop onto a ferry to the Aran Islands. It is also near the coastal walk towards the Cliffs of Moher (~2 hour walk to the cliffs). The staff (especially Polona) were amazingly warm, friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist you in any way. The place was very clean, and the atmosphere was always lovely and warm, with peaceful music and a warm fireplace in a beautiful cottage. The facilities are great. There is a laundry room, well-equipped kitchen, hot showers, and board games. WiFi is free and the signal is strong. Checkout is convenient with a hole to drop your keys in in case you're in a rush. Information, like tour brochures, maps, and bus timetables, are also available in the hostel. It was a perfect stay for me! (:

Das gemütlichste Zimmer meiner Reise. Etagenbetten aus Holz und so gebaut, dass man auch im unteren Bett sitzen kann. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, mit Wasserhahn für gefiltertes Trinkwasser. Auch das Kaminzimmer sehr nett und von außen ohnehin eine Augenweide! Gerne wieder.

Il più bell'ostello del mio viaggio in Irlanda. Una struttura incantevole, sulla riva del fiume, con una sala con la stufa a torba e la sedia a dondolo. Accogliente, caldo, adorabile. Heloise, la receptionist é stata impagabile, mi ha aiutata in tutto, anche nel mio accanimento nel voler andare a vedere il dolmen a Paulnabrone, in mezzo al burren. Posizione ottimo, buona colazione a 1,50. Lavatrice gratis, asciugatrice 2 euro. Cosa volere di più? Ottimo!!!! Ah il bagno in camera è uno dei più grandi che abbia visto qui in Irlanda.

My first time in a hostel, loved it. Clean, safe, and welcoming. Great breakfast. Met a few nice fellow travelers. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m in Ireland.

Fantastic hostel. I had a twin ensuite and was really impressed by the room. There was even a wall that separated the two beds for privacy, so it was *almost* like having my own room. The location was picture perfect, the building's interior was charming, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

• No fueron vacaciones propiamente dicho, ya que trabajaba remotamente durante la tarde con la compu. Así que necesitaba un lugar no sólo cómodo y con los servicios que necesite, sino necesitaba sentirme como en casa. De esta manera estaba toda la tarde sentado en la sala común y estuvo perfecto. Buena conexión a internet y buena compañía ya que todo el staff se portó de maravillas. Claramente volveré! Gracias!

This hostel is a cosy, clean, heart-warming place. I stayed there in early February in a tent in the garden - plus using the shower, kitchen and all community areas. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, breakfast is nice and of course the surrounding is mesmerizing. After a long walk/drive around the Burren, the coast or the Cliffs Of Moher, there is no better place in Doolin, than the bench beneath the chimney, which in my opinion acts as the core of the Hostel and best expresses its hole calming atmosphere.

I stayed one night with my boyfriend at this lovely hostel! We had booked a room for ourself which was clean and had enough space for us. The location is great - you’re in few minutes really close to all the shops und pubs! The atmosphere was very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay!! You can have breakfast for 1,50€ and can choose between 3 choices - which was totally enough and great. We would definitely choose this hostel again :)

Un hostel très original car dans un bâtiment typique ! Il est idéalement placé a Doolin car juste a coté de l'arrêt de bus et des principaux resto/pubs.

Les chambres sont grandes et bien équipées, tout comme la cuisine. Je reviendrai sans hésitation !

The ABSOLUTE best hostel. Spotless, huge rooms with very nice bunks and a big washroom. Reception was extremely helpful and kind. The cost was great too. By far my most pleasant experience in a hostel. I can’t recommend this place enough, would go out of my way to stay here again. Everything you want in a hostel and so much more

So easy to camp there , 9 euro a head, The location is perfect after being over to the islands all day to have grub and pints between the 3 villages of doolin then off into our tent by the river .Excellent thank you

I stayed there only for one night and at first it was only so I could be close to walk to the Cliffs of Moher. Once I got there, I felt like I was in a little countryside paradise. It is absolutely lovely and pretty I just fell in love with Doolin! It really reminded me of a little cabin in the countryside in Canada. The breakfast in kind of small though. The wifi is great. Staff if great. Loved it! 

Comfortable beds, clean rooms & bathrooms, cozy atmosphere, helpful genuine staff and ideal location. Highly recommended.

I have stayed here several times over the years and it never fails to impress. 

I simply loved Aille River Hostel. It has such a homey atmosphere and everyone was extremely nice. The hostel is PERFECTLY located. The rooms and bathroom were impacbly clean. It was by far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed. Doolin is such a small town, but so cute and with a wonderful atmosphere. I would love to have stayed longer.

Awesome location if you're looking to do the cliff walk (which you should do!). Very clean rooms and great bathrooms. 

My favourite place out of my entire trip. I didn't want to leave. The staff are incredible; the location is perfect; the locals are....beyond words. The entire experience was beautiful, not even mentioning the scenery - which was positively stunning

Our stay at Aille River was great! Very cute and cozy place. Hostess was super nice and let us leave our bags in the common area after checkout while we hiked around the cliffs. The whole place, common area, room, and bathrooms, were very clean!

A friend and I stayed here last September while hiking in the west of Ireland. It was all you could wish for in a hostel. Sited right next to a river, close to a great pub (Fitzpatricks, where we saw some great live music), clean, old stonework, etc. Highly recommend it.

A great Hostel for 125€ total for my family of 6 to have our own room. Secured entrance, laundry on-site, shared & private toilets/showers (depending on stay type), breakfast provided for 1.50€ per person, and towel rentals 1€ per bath towel. Has a beautiful view and free coffee & tea all day and night! Would definitely recommend!

Very clean and quaint old farm house with clean rooms, comfortable bunks and a clean well appointed kitchen. Wi-Fi worked great and the staff were friendly and helpful. Very close to the cliffs of Moher and come great pubs in the town!

Good location, the town is small so easy to navigate. It's own car park was really handy. The hostel is large and Water was hot. Staff friendly.

Nice location. Well taken care of. Manager (owner?) was wonderful. Even prepared a breakfast the night before for me so I could have it early in the morning. Comfortable and kitchen and common spaces were great (fire place!).

Sa situation, avec la pelouse et rivière devant, ainsi que le croisement où passe le bus pour Galway, qui dessert les sites touristiques de part et d'autre du hostel: Cliffs of Moher, les îles Aran, le Burren, Plage de Fenor, etc...( on peut aussi aller au port de Doolin et les Cliffs à pied). Egalement appréciable: les grands espaces communs et la gentillesse du propio!

The staff were wonderful, and check in was easy. Wi-Fi worked well, and the kitchen is spacious. The overall vibe is quite charming, and you're walking distance to all the pubs, which have live Irish music nightly. Cliffs of Moher aren't that far at all as well.

The hostel is in walking distance to the few restaurants/pubs in the village and is next to the river in a nice natural setting. It's perfect as a base camp for a trip to the Arran Islands as the ferry pier is about 3 km away. The kitchen is very big and there are many places to sit and relax inside and outside.

Very beautiful place, the building, location, everything. 10 out of 10 would stay there again! Made many friends, and in 1 minute you can find a lovely bar and food! Hiking the coast towards the Cliffs of Moher is just a delight, and so close by Aille River hostel. Friendly people, good facilties, free washing machine, purified water which made me very very happy at that time.. Couldn't recommend a better place!

Letti a castello della camera per 4 persone molto comodi e confortevoli, bagno in camera comodo..scenario e giardino dell ostello incantevoli, atmosfera rilassata e amichevole, la sera un ragazzo ha suonato la chitarra rendendo il tutto molto irish. Colazione 1.50 euro con 4 pancakes con nutella o miele molto apprezzata dai bambini, free coffee e tea..meglio di così..

Anche di latte ne puoi prendere quanto ne vuoi oppure mangiare quello che ti sei portato...

The house was adorable and we had no issues! Everything was clean and the bathrooms were nice. Breakfast was 1.50 euro and well worth it.

Nice to meet a Slovenian working there, overall a very lovely hostel, was amazing staying there.

Terrific place to stay: clean, comfortable, quiet. It’s within reach by shuttle or car of the coastal walkway for the Cliffs of Moher.

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. Everything is perfect from the location to the staff. Great atmosphere. The only problem I had were the wooden floors and doors. Overall a perfect hostel if you want to experience the surrounding area of Doolin. I will definitely come back.
