Staying at this hostel was so wonderful. It is perfect for anyone who enjoys the countryside, the outdoors, or somewhere a little quieter, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hostel is near the Doolin pier, where you can hop onto a ferry to the Aran Islands. It is also near the coastal walk towards the Cliffs of Moher (~2 hour walk to the cliffs). The staff (especially Polona) were amazingly warm, friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist you in any way. The place was very clean, and the atmosphere was always lovely and warm, with peaceful music and a warm fireplace in a beautiful cottage. The facilities are great. There is a laundry room, well-equipped kitchen, hot showers, and board games. WiFi is free and the signal is strong. Checkout is convenient with a hole to drop your keys in in case you're in a rush. Information, like tour brochures, maps, and bus timetables, are also available in the hostel. It was a perfect stay for me! (:
