We went to Doolin for two days and have a night in the Hostel. All was clean, comfortable and close to everything you want to do there... This is a nice place to be where i will come again ! The staff is very kind, sympatic. What more can you ask? Nothing but to be always the same. Thank you very much for the welcome.

I have stayed here several times over the years and it never fails to impress.
I simply loved Aille River Hostel. It has such a homey atmosphere and everyone was extremely nice. The hostel is PERFECTLY located. The rooms and bathroom were impacbly clean. It was by far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed. Doolin is such a small town, but so cute and with a wonderful atmosphere. I would love to have stayed longer.
Awesome location if you're looking to do the cliff walk (which you should do!). Very clean rooms and great bathrooms.

Our stay at Aille River was great! Very cute and cozy place. Hostess was super nice and let us leave our bags in the common area after checkout while we hiked around the cliffs. The whole place, common area, room, and bathrooms, were very clean!
A friend and I stayed here last September while hiking in the west of Ireland. It was all you could wish for in a hostel. Sited right next to a river, close to a great pub (Fitzpatricks, where we saw some great live music), clean, old stonework, etc. Highly recommend it.
A great Hostel for 125€ total for my family of 6 to have our own room. Secured entrance, laundry on-site, shared & private toilets/showers (depending on stay type), breakfast provided for 1.50€ per person, and towel rentals 1€ per bath towel. Has a beautiful view and free coffee & tea all day and night! Would definitely recommend!

Very clean and quaint old farm house with clean rooms, comfortable bunks and a clean well appointed kitchen. Wi-Fi worked great and the staff were friendly and helpful. Very close to the cliffs of Moher and come great pubs in the town!

Good location, the town is small so easy to navigate. It's own car park was really handy. The hostel is large and Water was hot. Staff friendly.

Sa situation, avec la pelouse et rivière devant, ainsi que le croisement où passe le bus pour Galway, qui dessert les sites touristiques de part et d'autre du hostel: Cliffs of Moher, les îles Aran, le Burren, Plage de Fenor, etc...( on peut aussi aller au port de Doolin et les Cliffs à pied). Egalement appréciable: les grands espaces communs et la gentillesse du propio!
The staff were wonderful, and check in was easy. Wi-Fi worked well, and the kitchen is spacious. The overall vibe is quite charming, and you're walking distance to all the pubs, which have live Irish music nightly. Cliffs of Moher aren't that far at all as well.

The hostel is in walking distance to the few restaurants/pubs in the village and is next to the river in a nice natural setting. It's perfect as a base camp for a trip to the Arran Islands as the ferry pier is about 3 km away. The kitchen is very big and there are many places to sit and relax inside and outside.
Very beautiful place, the building, location, everything. 10 out of 10 would stay there again! Made many friends, and in 1 minute you can find a lovely bar and food! Hiking the coast towards the Cliffs of Moher is just a delight, and so close by Aille River hostel. Friendly people, good facilties, free washing machine, purified water which made me very very happy at that time.. Couldn't recommend a better place!
Letti a castello della camera per 4 persone molto comodi e confortevoli, bagno in camera comodo..scenario e giardino dell ostello incantevoli, atmosfera rilassata e amichevole, la sera un ragazzo ha suonato la chitarra rendendo il tutto molto irish. Colazione 1.50 euro con 4 pancakes con nutella o miele molto apprezzata dai bambini, free coffee e tea..meglio di così..
Anche di latte ne puoi prendere quanto ne vuoi oppure mangiare quello che ti sei portato...

What a great place. It's like hostels used to be. Great staff, great facilities, very cute and friendly. The building is beautiful and sits in a lovely setting. Our bed was great, room was great, the common area is great. A very friendly, comfortable stay. Breakfast is 1.50 euros - it doesn't get much better than that.

After walking 7 hours on leg one of the Burren Way, I was tired, damp and hungry. Which usually equates to, in my life, grouchiness.
But the Aillie River Hostel created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that I was instantly calm and happy. A fire in the fireplace dried my boots and clothes, the fabulously friendly staff soothed my soul and the facilities were simple, clean and homey.
Whether you are walking by like I did, or staying for longer…you can't go wrong here. Central location, close to incredible food and music.
Why pay more when you can get all that Doolin has to offer in a shared, happy atmosphere that's easy on your pocketbook.
Plus, as a solo traveller, it was an perfect place to meet like minded individuals.

Aille River Hostel, the first stop on our trip, was ideal! The staff was accommodating and went out of there way to make us feel welcome. They reconciled an error in our reservation, my mistake, and couldn't have been more helpful. My traveling companion, new to Hostelling, didn't want to leave and, after two weeks, said Aille River Hosteling Doolin was her fav place!
Me and my friend stayed for one night in a double room with enquirer. Room and bathroom were very clean and nice and comfy. Hostel owner is very friendly! Breakfast for 1.50 (which the nice owner gave us for free) was tasty and a good start in the day. I would definitely recommend this place!

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the place is so cozy! Good for people that want peace and relax! It's near of the cliffs of Moher! The room is comfortable and everything is clean! Simple and good breakfast! The price is fair enough! If you need a place to find peace, it's the right place!
The house was adorable and we had no issues! Everything was clean and the bathrooms were nice. Breakfast was 1.50 euro and well worth it.

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. Everything is perfect from the location to the staff. Great atmosphere. The only problem I had were the wooden floors and doors. Overall a perfect hostel if you want to experience the surrounding area of Doolin. I will definitely come back.

Lovely hostel in Doolin, a fantastic place to stay when visiting the Cliffs of Moher. We walked from Doolin along the seaside all the way to the Cliffs (2.5 hrs), a walk with stunning views. The hostel was very cosy and its staff friendly. Since we booked a large room for just the two of us we got free breakfast, what great hospitality! Would certainly recommend the place!

Such a relaxed, family vibe with amazing staff. Incredibly welcoming and generous. Rooms were cozy, comfortable and clean. Kitchen is well equipped. Awesome gathering spaces to enjoy the fire and relax. Small town, however close to the Cliffs which is exactly what we wanted. Such a great place to rejuvenate and relax. Free laundry and good wifi on site was nice. Easy parking access as well. A most for sure. Will definitely return!

Aille River Hostel in Doolin is hands down the best hostel I have ever stayed in. It was nicer than most of the AirBnB rooms we booked throughout our UK/Ireland trip and definitely had the most comfortable beds. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are clean and very user friendly. If you go to bed early you may find yourself waking up a little bit here and there when people are returning from the pub, but overall it was a really nice stay.
What a lovely spot! The value for money is incomparable to any place I've stay in before. Doolin itself is very small, so come equipped with groceries & the likes. Other than that, there are a few pubs and cafes nearby, all within 5-10 minute walk from the door of the hostel. The trad music we listened to in the pubs was incredible & I would reccomend a visit for that alone. Breakfast is €1.5 euro with 3 options - toast & eggs, museli, and pancakes Needless to say I'll be back before long!
One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. It's exactly the kind of place you would want to stay when traveling in rural Ireland. The rooms are super clean, beds are solid and well built, and the overall atmosphere in the hostel is great. Room was spacious and clean (room 10). Location great - right in the middle of Doolin. Breakfast was cheap and delicious, pancakes, cereal, eggs, soda bread, free tea and coffee.
Over all, no complaints at all!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Allie River Hostel for one night on March 14, 2017. I stayed in the 3 person suite with friends of mine, and the room was clean, warm and comfortable for our night's stay. The staff was helpful in providing us with dinner and travel recommendations. The common room provides a space for you to meet fellow travelers and relax before turning to your room. I highly recommend staying here during your stay in Doolin.
This place has everything you need. Located in the heart of doolin, it's in front of a pub with delicious food and some other restaurants, it's within walking distance to get the ferry to the Aran Islands and to get the bus to Galway.
The place is clean, the shower is hot and the bed supercomfy.
The receptionist is super friendly. She speaks good english, and cares about the guests (she made sure I had breakfast ready for me even though I left at 6am and minded my bag when I was go even after I checked out). Also, I had made reservation for the wrong day and she fixed with no problem, placing me in a bit more expensive room (but it was my fault afterall) that was perfect for a couple.
I totally recomend this place!

habe 5 Nächte in diesem wunderbaren Hostel verbracht und bin uneingeschränkt zufrieden. Es gibt eine Küche, die sehr groß ist und das gesamte Hostel ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Kamin im Gemeinschaftsraum war mein Highlight. Er brannte in den Abendstunden und man traf dort immer nette Leute. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, der Inhaber sehr bemüht und stets für einen Plausch zu haben. Gerne wieder :)
I really really enjoyed my stay here. As I didn't have a car, I had to get by on foot and this hostel was situated more or less in the center of the village, with the nearest pub just across the road. The place was clean and cosy and I enjoyed chatting with the owners too.
Cheap breakfast in the morning is delicious. Great wifi. One of the most comfortable beds in Europe. Staff are very friendly. A short drive (or a long walk) to the Cliffs of Moher. Hard to find anything wrong with this hostel.

I adored this hostel. The kitchen was great, there was fantastic breakfast, and Robert is aces. So helpful and nice! It's a gorgeous hostel, about a 5-10min walk to the village, and there are small security lockers in the room that come free of charge. The place is clean and the wifi was good for me. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hostel right near the cliffs of Moher. Plenty of facilities, staff were great, beds were comfy, great location as well. I particularly enjoyed the fireplace in the common room on the cold nights.

Das Aileriverhostel ist ein sehr schoenes im Landhausstil errichtetes Hostel. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Sanitaere Anlagen und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Kueche vorhanden und sauber. Fruehstueck war super. Hauseigene Parkplaetze. Restaurants sind zu Fuss zu erreichen. Das Hostel ist nur ca. 6 Kilometer von den Cliffs of Moher entfernt. Es gibt selbstgemachte Cookies - lecker. Hostel sehr empfehlenswert. Doolin Hoehle in der Naehe. Werde hier wieder uebernachten.
PULITISSIMO, struttura in pietra, parquet in camera, letti a castello in legno, cucina spaziosa, atmosfera magica, irlandese, calda, accogliente, personale gentilissimo, veramente veramente bello, ostello preferito tra tutti quelli che abbiamo visto durante il viaggio. Doolin merita di essere vista. Se siete fortunati come noi, uscite di sera, dall'ostello andate all' O'Connors pub a piedi, beccatevi un cielo stellato da paura, gustatevi un baileys coffee e un brandy con ginger ale al pub.

I was only meant to stay in doolin one night but I liked this place so much I stayed a few more. Adorable cottage feel, decent breakfast for a low price, and in a nice spot next to a little river/creek. They lit the stove every night in the common area and it was very cosy. Walking distance to anything in doolin, and just a couple hours walk or a short drive to the cliffs of moher

I fell in love with Dooblin and Ireland! This hostel is lovely with beautiful scenery surrounding it(or maybe it's just Ireland being beautiful on her own!) the staffs and owners were friendly and I really enjoyed my time there despite only stayed there for a night. I like that it has a self catering kitchen and washing machine free to use! It was a spontaneous trip and didn't know I would love this country so much. Btw, this place is near to the bus stop and walking trail to the Clifts of Moher

It is without hesitation the best hostel in our Irish journey! While the campground is a bit small but it is sheltered from the wind by stone wall, which is not insignificant in this windy area. Opportunity to visit the Cliffs of Moher the coastal path located steps. Common rooms (living room, dining room, kitchen ...) are a picturesque charm, peat fire and old stone floor. The inn offers a courtesy tea and coffee. The staff (speaking French to some) was very friendly and welcoming, even helping us to organize the rest of our trip with advice that we were very practical. Possibility of free use of the washing machine. Very good price / quality I highly recommend!

Das Hostel sieht sowohl von außen als auch innen wunderbar rustikal aus und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und die Betten sehr bequem. Der Kühlschrank bietet kostenlose Lebensmittel und die Benutzung der Küchenutensilien im allgemeinen ist kostenfrei. Es gibt gratis Tee und Kaffee zu jeder Zeit.
