We are an extended family. We chose the aille river hostel because of good ratings and good reviews.
We were not misled. The accommodations suited us perfectly and the beds were very comfortable. I spent some time outside sitting by the lovely stream flowing by the front lawn.
The hosts were friendly and very concerned that our entire visit went well for us. They were so helpful and open!
If we find our way back to doolin, we will stay here!

Amazing people, great vibe. We had to leave early (4am) for the airport and they had breakfast packaged and in the fridge for us. So sweet

Cute clean place to stay. Lovely facilities. We stayed in private ensure. We were not there long but enjoyed walking the small little town and had easy access to Cliffs of Mohr.
Ireland has been my 12th country I've been too and Aille River has been the best place I've stayed in so far. The staff were so helpful and always seemed like we're happy to see you. The facilities were great and they were kept perfectly clean, daily. I would recommend Aille River to anyone coming through Ireland. This was definitely not my last time in Doolin and I'll definitely be back to Aille River in the near future.
Awesome hostel in a nice small town, very close to Cliffs of Moher. There is a great atmosphere at Allie River Hostel, I would highly recommend it.

The stone house is gorgeous. The staff is very nice as well. And you can use a washing machine for free!

Best hostel I have ever stayed in....staff are fabulously friendly. Great spot. Don't look anywhere else....but book well in advance unless like us you're camping then arrive there should be space. Full use of facilities while camping is fab and free wifi.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the environment felt very homely. The scenery outside the hostel was really good. It was a convenient location to catch the ferry to Aran islands, and a nice walk to Doolin caves. Cliffs of Moher and the Burren was also nearby! Overall, one of my nicest experiences in Ireland!

Great hostel in a wonderful place! You should definitely try to go to doolin, it's a fantastic village in the best nature of Ireland, but there are also some pubs with very good parties for the night and good food. It's close the 2 best attractions of Ireland: cliffs of moher and the Aran island. The hostel is really nice, clean and well-organized! The staff is really Friendly and the price is good!

This hostel was one of the first that I booked for my travels around Ireland because of the wonderful reviews, great location, and I'll be honest...because of how cute it was! I was not let down by any of these expectations.
Some of the conveniences I found: The parking was free and located directly next to the hostel. Laundry was free! I wish I had taken advantage of this, but unfortunately I ended up doing my laundry at my next stop in Kilkenny for about 15 Euros. There was a computer that I was able to use for free to upload some pictures from my adventures, and breakfast was available for a small fee and was much better than any other breakfast I had on my trip (soda bread, jam, and a raw egg that I scrambled). Also, the location couldn't have been better! I was able to hike to the Cliffs of Moher from the hostel, and even my journey to the actual hike was beautiful!

This hostel is right across the road from the bus stop. It has a warm, inviting common area and a friendly staff. Our room was on the second floor with a view of the river. The wifi signal in our room and in the common area was strong and reliable. The beds were extremely comfortable and even though it was storming outside, we felt quite snug. Breakfast was €1.50 and a perfect start to the day. If I ever come back to Doolin I will stay here. This was far and away the best hostel/guesthouse we stayed in during our trip. I highly recommend it!

This hostel is like a 'home away from home'. The layout encourages people to mix and creates a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were so helpful and full of information on what to do and see in the area.
ドーリンに行ったときに、泊まりました。川辺のホステルで、泊まっている人もみんなどこか楽しそうで、面白かったです。朝ごはんはみんな思い思いに、セルフで食べるのですが、椅子と机が少なくて難儀しましたが、それもよい思い出です。

A estrutura do albergue é excelente e todos que trabalham lá são super prestativos e educados. As camas são confortáveis, banheiro bem conservado e tudo muito limpo. O café da manhã custa 1,50 , mas o local também tem cozinha completa pra quem quiser fazer sua comida. Recomendo o albergue!!!! Fica a dica de ler a carta que tá emoldurada na parede e perguntar para o dono a história dela. Isso garantirá boas gargalhadas.

Had the most amazing time at this hostel! Booked an extra night because it was so amazing!The staff who run the place are amazing, all so friendly and helpful. From group trips to the pub and family night dinners my time at this hostel was amazing!

The kindness and hospitality of the staff is wonderful here at the Aille River Hostel. Upon my early arrival, I was offered coffee and excellent conversation. Staff had plenty of recommendations for things to do in the area, places for music and food. They were extremely helpful and really wanted to help make sure I had a great time! The facilities were excellent and clean, they even had a fireplace in the main room which was super cozy. I would highly recommend staying here!

This was my best experience at a hostel in Ireland so far. The common room was cozy, (with a peat-burning stove!) and was the perfect size to meet people and talk but small enough that it didn't get too loud or overwhelming. Staff made me feel so at home. They were so kind. The beds were comfortable, the rooms pretty big, and the building itself was absolutely magical. Think Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The kitchen was easy to use and huge. Over all - everything I hoped for and more!

My Favorite hostel in Ireland! Very clean, the BEST atmosphere and close to everything. Trust me, you NEED to stay here. I can't believe the hospitality they offer! The view of the creek is exceptional and it's very close to say high to joe, the donkey of doolin!
This hostel was one of the best ones I ever stayed in. The atmosphere was really great and relaxed, and the staff was very helpful and friendly! It was a nice small hostel, and the services they offered were great. The rooms were also really nice and very clean. The prices are very low compared to the great rooms and services you get for it! I would really recommend it!

This was my first time visiting this hostel. It was my favourite in Ireland. The common room was a great space full of great people. The kitchen is very big. Bathrooms are the cleanest I've seen in most hostels-- very good to see! I great wifi. Perfect location for many activities such as boat tours, Aran islands, cave, cliffs, food and music. I hope I can be here again some day.

This is the best hostel we have stayed in in Ireland. Location is very close to aran island tours, as well as cliffs of moher. we stayed 2 nights, one day for each of the location. Kitchen is big, with lots of room to cook, enough space for a lot of people to maneuver in the kitchen. Very sturdy bunk beds. plenty of handing hooks in room and bathroom. free use of laundry machine is a big plus.

This is such a cute hostel! We loved it. Right near the bus stop and in walking distance of the Cliffs of Moher (strenuous walking though). The staff were helpful and the first place was clean.
I was very impressed with the Allie River Hostel and enjoyed my stay immensely. The staff were very helpful, informative and friendly and the availability of free tea and coffee was a God send. The log fire lounge room was very relaxing, the kitchen spacious, clean with good facilities and the room was clean. My favourite aspect is the idyllic river at the front.

This was a nice hostel clean and owner is passionate to keep it that way. It's right on river brook so you wake up and having morning coffee outside in peaceful setting.
Accueil excellent , ambiance chaleureuse et cosi ( la cheminée de la pièce principale y est pour beaucoup !! ) la chambre parfaite et propre ... Super cuisine pour préparer ce que l'on a envie ( étagère et frigidaire a disposition pour stocker ses denrées) il y a aussi des épices, café, sucre, huile ...en libre service ... Et enfin le jardin à proximité d'un petit court d'eau dans lequel on peut traîner, lire , boire un verre ... Que dire d'autre .... Doolin est une ville paisible à proximité des cliffs moher où d'autres sites bien mieux à voir comme sans doute la plus petite cathédrale du monde, des châteaux, des sites préhistoriques .. petit plus cette région pour les visites est particulièrement bien documentée !!!!

everything is lovely about the place, the outside of the Hostel is beautiful, green, with a small river next to the entrance, a lovely donkey staying on the other side of the road.
The staff was very welcoming, helped us to get information for our excursions. The common areas were big, warm, there even was a fireplace !
The kitchen is big, with everything needed to cook, tea and coffee, The area is quiet, the beds are comfortable.
The town is really small, but you have to do 3 kms to get to a "supermarket" (to get some food).
lovely little place- staff were incredible. Robert even let me park in his drive for four days as the car park was full! Added bonus is that it is central and so close to various landmarks. I will be going back one day :)

Peu cher, bonne place pour poser la tente, wifi douche et lave linge gratuit, à quelques pas du début des cliffs of Mohers et du centre ville. La salle commune est chauffée au feu de bois, ce qui rend l'ambiance…
Es exactamente lo que ofrece. Dentro de Doolin es el mejor emplazamiento en cuanto a paisaje, junto al río y en un viejo molino de piedra reformado.
La habitación era limpia, cómoda y agradable.
La zona común donde los diferentes viajeros del Hostel pueden compartir espacio, conversaciones o juegos de mesa, así como preparase un te o un café en la cocina compartida, junto a la chimenea, es realmente encantador.
Su relación-calidad-comfortabilidad-precio hacen de este lugar un establecimiento realmente recomendable.
Cet établissement est très bien situé, a proximité des cliffs of moher, et autres sites à visiter. Le lieu est charmant, très propre, accueillant. Un superbe jardin ou coule une rivière. A l'interieur une salle a manger avec cheminée et grande cuisine. Les chambres sont tres douillettes. Je recommande !!

We stayed here just one night but we appreciated both hostel and location very much. Doolin is a wonderful little village and very convenient to visit the Cliffs of Moher. The Hotel was great. Very beautiful building, nice and helpful staff. Our room ensuite was a sort of dependance: very nice, even if a bit small. Anyway very clean.

Le personnel est très sympathique, avant et pendant le séjour: ils nous ont donné des conseils sur les tours possibles dans la région.
La pièce commune est agréable, avec possibilité de prendre son petit dej sur place.

Charming guest house, in an old building, but neat and clean., young atmosphere, free WIFI, free laundry (drying at a cost of 2-4 euros). We stayed in a very nice private room for four people, with a shower and toilet.

A great hostel located in the centre of Doolin close to bars and bus links, but yet very quiet! There is a magnificent atmosphere in the common area, rooms were excellent considering their cheapness, and there is a great self service kitchen! Staff were very friendly also and wifi works great! Certainly lives up to its "home away from home" slogan! Would definitely stay again!
This little hostel is a small slice of paradise. Everything was perfect, the breakfast was affordable and really good, sitting areas were nice, beds were wide and very comfortable, rooms had good windows and enough space, outdoor seating area was lovely. Doolin is fantastic, small and peaceful. One of the best stays of my trip!
